Handbike Scotland Tubs review.

They don't get and better than these race thoroughbreds. Tubular version of the CX clincher. Currently being manufactured with a 320 thread carcase and with a file pattern tread protected with a kevlar shield these tyres are not only very fast but tough with it. Their 20mm profile does limit them to better surfaces though . First choice for a top notch race tyre and my favourite.

ROAD TEST

Full on race tyre. Very narrow profile, the ideal choice for that special race but only if its on very smooth road surfaces. Fast due to a very small contact area not great in the wet when cornering .

Full on race tyre. 22mm version better suited to all road surfaces and better control in damp conditions .Still a very fast race tyre.

ROAD TEST

Full on race tyre. 21mm profile that can be inflated between 115 and a whopping 175 psi depending on the weather. At the high pressure end these tyres become pretty solid so expect a fairly hard ride.
